Todd Calfee lost his daughter, Alexis, in a drunk driving accident in 2011. Wednesday evening he will share a powerful story about the dangers of drunk driving in the BBHS gym at 7 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, the lives of Alexis Calfee and Chris Olberg were abruptly ended. A drunk driver struck Chris's motorcycle while driving on the wrong side of the road, instantly killing the young couple outside of Emerson, Neb.
The alexis PROJECT is a non-profit organization devoted to carrying on the legacy of Alexis and Chris though education and community outreach about the dangers of drunk driving.
Todd Calfee, proud father of Alexis, will bring the alexis PROJECT to Broken Bow, Wednesday, Oct. 24, with a special presentation at 7 p.m. in the Broken Bow High School gym. Everyone is encouraged to come and hear this powerful, inspirational story - and learn what YOU can do to save a life!
