Steven Brandt, 67

Steven Michael Brandt, 67, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at his home, after a lengthy illness. Steve was born Nov. 22, 1945, to Blanche Livinston in Denver, Colo. he grew up on a farm near Ansley and graduated from Ansley High School in 1965.
After graduation, he moved to Seattle, Wash., and worked for the Boeing Company. In 1968, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. After his tour of duty he returned to Seattle and June 20, 1970, he married his wife, Pam.
In 1972, they moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, where he was employed as a barber, then as a heavy duty tire man with the Teamsters Local 959. This occupation took him up and down the Trans Alaska pipeline.
He is survived by his wife, Pam, of North Pole, Alaska; sons, Ed and his wife Shannon of Edinburgh, Scotland, and David of Faribanks; brother, Jeff and his wife Debbie of Aurora, Colo.; sister-in-law, Jolene Brandt of Kearney; nieces, Kari Brandt and Mindi Brandt of Omaha; nephew, TJ Brandt and his wife Lauren of Kearney; and great-nephews, Quincy and Jayven Brandt of Omaha.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Blanche Brandt, and brother, Charles Brandt.
