Nine area teams began play in the LVC Tournament last night. Top seed Ansley and second seed Mullen hosted first round action with remaining games to be played Saturday at Loup County.
In Ansley Thursday night, game one paired South Loup against Loup County in the bunny bracket game with the winner to face Ansley in game three. Game two featured Anselmo-Merna against Arcadia.
In Mullen, game one paired Sargent and Sandhills/Thedford which was followed by game two featuring Mullen and Litchfield.
Litchfield has also announced the tournament field for the L-Club Volleyball Tourney scheduled with action beginning Monday and concluding Tuesday.
Monday night, Loup County plays South Loup with the winner to face Sargent Tuesday and Litchfield will play Amherst with this winner to play Anselmo-Merna Tuesday.
