Trevor L. Haller, 17 of Kearney passed away November 1, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Evangelical Free Church with the Revs. Mike Shields and Tim Stratton officiating. Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the O'Brien-Straatmann-Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney. Interment will be at the Kearney Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family in lieu of flowers. Trevor Leo Haller was born August 9, 1994 in Broken Bow, Nebraska to Scott and Teresa (Jacquot) Haller. Trevor was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and was confined to a wheel chair, but insisted on enjoying life. He loved playing X-box, NASCAR, watching Husker Football, youth group, and sharing his faith and hope in Jesus with people. He was truly an inspiration to anyone who met him. Trevor will always be remembered for his big smile and the concern he had for others. He will be missed.

Trevor is survived by his mother, Teresa Haller of Kearney; father, Scott Haller of Cedar Rapids, NE and his special friend, Shelly Broekemeier; brothers, Dustin Haller and his wife, Jackie of Hebron, Eric Haller of Cedar Rapids, NE, Ty Haller of Kearney; grandparents, Dale and Kathy Haller of Merna, NE and Patti Jacquot of Merna, NE, as well as, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Trevor is preceded in death by his grandfather, "Papa" Jerry Jacquot.
