Twin Loup Football routs Loup City

Twin Loup wasted no time in getting back on the winning track Friday night as they cruised to a 54-6 victory over Loup City.

Chett Hinton scored the first two touchdowns of the game before quarterback Jack Gibbens connected with Dexter Griebel on two consecutive drives for touchdown passes, putting the Wolves ahead by four scores.

Gibbens took it in himself from three-yards out in the third quarter before coach Mike Kozeal gave the backups some playing time.

"I thought our younger kids played well tonight," Kozeal said. "We did a lot of good things. We talked about creating some turnovers on defense and owning things up front from the line of scrimmage and I thought our kids did that throughout all four quarters."
