The Sandhills-Thedford Knights made their football debut Friday night in Dunning, as they hosted the Ansley Warriors. Sporting new colors, a new logo, and new team name, the Knights drew a large crowd of supporters from Sandhills High School and Thedford High School. However, the Warriors proved to be too much for the newly formed Knights, who lost the game by a final score of 51-8. Highlights from this and other football, volleyball and cross country events from the coverage area will be featured in this week's Custer County Chief!
