Western Underground, the band that played with Chris LeDoux for 16 years, performed to a large and enthusiastic crowd Tuesday night at the Custer County Fair in Broken Bow. As part of the band's encore performance, LeDoux's son, Ned, sang a tribute to his late father, performing his rendition of "Rodeo Man." Though he admittedly doesn't possess his father's singing ability, the crowd expressed their appreciation of the touching number with a standing ovation. Ned plays drums with the band. See this week's Custer County Chief for a personal, sit-down interview with the band's guitarist and road manager, Mark Sissel.
