Two school board elections have drawn much attention from patrons and will require run-offs in the May 13 primary. The deadline for new candidates to file was Monday. Also filing for election were Sharon Beals, Kyle Cantrell, Allen D. Fales, Clifford Burnett, Joel Bartak, Kevin Safranek, Cythia Boyd and Michelle Miller. Incumbent Grant Chapin has filed for re-election to the entity’s two-year term. Incumbent Cheryl Guggenmos did not file for re-election.
