Buddie LeRoy Dishman, 69, of Hubbard, Ore., died Aug. 10, 2007 at his home. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, May 3 at noon at the Anselmo Cemetery. A lunch at the Tom and Diane Scott residence will follow. Buddie was born March 7, 1938, in Broken Bow to Lee and Nellie Godfrey Dishman.
   
He was a diesel and gas engine mechanic and drove his own truck for many years. He was a maintenance engineer for Fors Farm in Aurora for some time. He was also and electrician and was known as an able “fixer-upper.” He enjoyed traveling in his motor home.
    He was  a member of the Woodburn Seventh-day Adventist Church.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and one sister. He has two remaining sisters, Dorothy Dishman and Leora Criffield, both of Broken Bow, and has numerous nieces and nephews in the area.
    Buddie is also survived by his wife, Judy, of Hubbard, Ore.; son, Ken of Milwaukie, Ore.; daughter, Wendy Moss of Amboy, Wash.; stepsons Ken Skaggs, Jr., of Hubbard, Ore., Tad Skaggs of Portland, Ore., and Keith Skaggs of Canyon Ferry, Mont.; stepdaughters Laurie Wilson of Wilsonville, Ore., Viola Wheatley of Helena Mont., and Kendall Skaggs of Lincoln City, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
