The Broken Bow Seniors team competed in four games last week, winning three of them. The Indians hosted Lexington last Tuesday in what is usually a tough match-up. However, Broken Bow was able to use good pitching and solid defense on their way to 12-0 victory, which ended after 5 innings due to the 10-run rule. Thomas Peterson earned the win as he pitched all 5 innings for Bow. Peterson allowed just 3 hits, while also walking 3 and striking out 4. The heart of the order proved vital for the Indians as the 3, 4 and 5 batters combined for 7 RBI’s. Broken Bow moved to 4-1 on the season following the comfortable win.
