The Broken Bow Seniors team competed in four games last week, winning three of them.
The Indians hosted Lexington last Tuesday in what is usually a tough match-up. However, Broken Bow was able to use good pitching and solid defense on their way to 12-0 victory, which ended after 5 innings due to the 10-run rule.
Thomas Peterson earned the win as he pitched all 5 innings for Bow. Peterson allowed just 3 hits, while also walking 3 and striking out 4.
The heart of the order proved vital for the Indians as the 3, 4 and 5 batters combined for 7 RBI’s.
Broken Bow moved to 4-1 on the season following the comfortable win.

Great game tonight, Bow Indians.  Let's do it again next week. - Lori Jackson

If your not a winter sports athlete as I wasn't, be sure
to make use of the weight room. Their is always time for conditioning when your
season begins.  Use the Weights in the off-season to add the muscle you will need to
get a leg-up on the competition.  Quote from my Favorite Track Coach  "If you want
to make it to the Big City (Omaha) you have to be Fast.  If you want to make it and
do well, YOU GOTTA ADD THE MUSCLE!" -Joshua Curlile
