Walter F. Blake, 89
Retired Army MSgt. Walter F. Blake, 89, of Dannebrog was greeted in heaven by family and friends Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Services will be 10 am, Friday, March 30, 2012, at the First Baptist Church Family Center in Dannebrog with the Rev. Barry Arndt officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m., Friday in Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5 - 7 p.m. with a friends and family remembrance service to be held at 7 p.m. at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the Dannebrog-Boelus Rescue Squad or the First Baptist Church in Dannebrog.
Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul is in charge of arrangements. More details will appear later.
