Wayne Benzler, 91

Wayne Benzler, age 91 of Broken Bow, formerly of North Platte, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at the Golden LivingCenter in Broken Bow.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery at Weissert. Memorials have been established to the Lone Tree Cemetery at Weissert. Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of the arrangements.
Beverly Dewayne "Wayne" Benzler was born April 21, 1919, at Pleasanton, to Fred and Hazel M. (Staley) Benzler. Wayne attended school in Kearney.
Wayne was married to Ethel L. Brown at North Platte Jan. 15, 1943. Wayne moved to North Platte where he operated his own barber shop for several years.
Wayne is survived by his sister, Geraldine Prother of Kearney; niece, Karen Brown of Kearney, and great-niece, Brenda McMurtrey of Rock Springs, Wyo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel.
