The 2010-11 S-E-M Mustangs are front row, from left, Antonio Vigil, Traven Claflin, John Frerichs, Zach Burden, Collin Donahoo, David Cervantez and Cale Eacker; second row, Calvin Frerichs, Morgan Ansbach, Bryce Brown, Cy Barnes, Austin Pierce and Tyler Bowden; third row, Chantz Klein, co-head coach Boyd Bowder, co-head coach Marlin Berg, Grant Clausen and Justin Samford.

SUMNER -- The S-E-M Mustangs will be strong contenders at most meets and especially at districts this season.
The Mustangs return five seniors and a sophomore who qualified for the state meet last year. John Frerichs is a three-time state qualifier while Cale Eacker and Zach Burden are two-time state qualifiers. Traven Claflin and Collin Donahoo are both qualified for state last year for Shelton High School.
Bryce Brown was the sophomore who qualified for state at 103 pounds last year.
Juniors who have mat experience are Calvin Frerichs, Cy Barnes, Austin Pierce and Justin Samford.
To be successful this season the Mustangs will need to stay healthy and follow the leadership of the upperclassmen.
The toughest challenge will be separating the wrestlers as many are at similar weights. They will need to find the right combinations to fill each weight class.
