With the surrounding schools starting to head back to classes, this week we throwback to articles in the August 17 and 24 issues of the Custer County Chief.

From the August 17 issue; Pre-school finds a new home. Broken Bow Schools hosted a ribbon cutting ceremonies for the new preschool facility at the former Tappen Valley School Monday night. School officials, board members, parents and students got a first-hand look at the facility where school will start this fall.

Here is a glimpse from the front page story in the August 24 issue of the Custer County Chief. Arnold learning initiative finally becomes a reality. On August 17, 2006 students received their own laptop computer to use at school after a dream three years in the making.
