WILDCATS GET DEFENSIVE FOR WINNING SEASON
TAYLOR -- The Loup County Wildcats will count on defense as their strength as long as they can pressure the ball and take care of it when they have it.
With three returning starters from last year’s 3-16 team the Wildcats are optimistic that they can improve from last year and compete in the Loup Valley Conference and districts.
Second year coach Jeff Bachman says that the biggest challenge his team will face will be dealing with the injuries from football. The Wildcats will not have a lot of depth and players will have to be in top physical shape to compete for 32 minutes.
The Wildcats have several players with a lot of minutes played and should be ready to comtribute at a high level.
