Jessica Blackburn and Andrew Swanson were united in marriage June 19, 2010, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Broken Bow. Pastor Roger Quandt officiated the evening service. Music was provided by Eva Quandt.
Bridesmaids were Sheena Lewandowski of North Platte, friend of the bride; Jessica Tryon of Marysville, Kan., cousin of the bride; and Sarah Keefe of Broken Bow, friend of the bride.
Groomsmen were Travis Swanson of Killeen, Texas, brother of the groom; Marcus Blackburn of Broken Bow, brother of the bride; and Jay Holmes Jr. of Kearney, friend of the groom.
Flowergirls were Hailey and Allyson Swanson of Killeen, Texas, nieces of the groom. Honorary flowergirl was Jaelynn Blackburn of Broken Bow, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Skylen Holland of Broken Bow, cousin of the bride. Honorary ring bearer was Hayden Swanson, son of the couple. The bride was escorted down the isle by her son, Gabriel Coon.
Following the ceremony a dinner and dance reception was held at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Broken Bow.
Parents of the bride are Scott and Kim Blackburn of Broken Bow and Micki Blackburn of Callaway. Grandparents are Bill and Mary Blackburn of Broken Bow and Donna and the late Wayne Hogg of Callaway.
Parents of the groom are Dennis Swanson of Greeley, and Pam Swanson of Killeen, Texas. Grandparents are Darlene and the late Clyde Swanson of Greeley, and George and Evelyn Seales of Killeen, Texas.
The couple resides in Broken Bow with their children.
