Charlotte Cash, 89 of Mullen, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at her son’s home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1922, in Broken Bow to Thomas W. Govier and Emma (Johnson) Govier. She was raised in Swiss Valley, and received her education at Gates.
She married Roy Edward Cash, and lived in Broken Bow where she was employed by the Broken Bow Nursing Home, Dr. English as a dental tech, and retired from BD in 1984. She was a member of Weissert Church of God and Mullen Senior Center.
Charlotte is survived by one son, William R. Cash and wife, Theresa of Mullen; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mildred Whitehead, of Broken Bow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Emma Govier; sisters, Ruby Govier, Sylvia Govier, Violet Warner, Mabel Baller; and one brother, George Govier.
Funeral services were Oct. 12 at the Mullen Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Govier officiating. Interment was at Lone Tree Cemetery at Weissert with Mullen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the Mullen Senior Center and Weissert Church of God.
