Tara Marie Weaver and Preston Jerod Foster were married, July 9, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church in North Platte. Dr. Douglas Delp officiated the wedding ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jack and Theresa Weaver of North Platte. The groom is the son of Julie Foster, Broken Bow, and the late Kevin Foster. The bride's grandparents include Dean and Helen Weaver of Stamford, and Mary Dow of North Platte. Kaye Carr, Springview, is the grandmother of the groom.
Serving as matrons of honor for the bride were Abbie Pack and Ashley Rangel, friends of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nicole Weaver, sister-inlaw of the bride, Lyndsey Foster, sister of the groom, Jennifer Sintek, friend of the bride, and Linsey Weaver, sister-in-law of the bride. Flower girls were Delaney Canaher, Rilynn Weaver, and Kinley Foster.
Best man was Brody Sikes, friend of the groom, Groomsmen were Brady Foster, cousin of the groom, Josh Weaver, brother of the bride, Travis Porter, friend of the couple, Chris Johnson, friend of the groom, and Jason Weaver, brother of the bride. Ring bearers were Gage Herrington, Camden Weaver, and Jackson Weaver. Ushers were Devon Kastler, Dru Kastler, William Row-den, and Jared Hanson.
Following the ceremony, a dinner reception and dance was held at the Lincoln Co. Fairgrounds. The couple resides in Gothenburg, where Tara teaches and coaches at Gothenburg Public Schools. Preston is employed by Lexington Public Schools and Tri K-Lawn in Gothenburg.
