Lyndsey Leigh Foster and Travis Scott Porter were united in marriage, Aug. 13, 2011, at St. Anselm's Catholic Church in Anselmo, with Father Jim Hunt officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Julie Foster of Broken Bow, and the late Kevin Foster, and the granddaughter of Kaye Carr, Springview.
The groom is the son of Mark and Carole Porter of Merna, and the grandson of Dorothy Porter, Broken Bow.
Serving as matron of honor was Samantha Kastler, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kayla Porter, sister of the groom, Nikki Kraus, friend of the bride, Tara Foster, sister-in-law of the bride, Megan Neth, friend of the bride, and Samantha Chytka, friend of the bride. Flower girls were lzabelle Tibbs, Maci Herrington, Gracyn Sisson, and Kinley Foster. The bride's personal attendants were Brook Ferguson and Mary Rice.
Serving as best man was Kyle Blakeman, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Mitchell Porter, brother of the groom, Matt Kraus, friend of the groom, Preston Foster, brother of the bride, Jess Arnold, friend of the groom, and Zach Bartak, friend of the groom. Ring bearers were Gage Herrington and Bronc Tibbs. Ushers were Brent Kirkpatrick, Terry Sterner, Nick Rush, and Levi Miller.
Following the ceremony, a dinner reception and dance was held at the Broken Bow Municipal Building. The couple lives in Utica, where the groom is a crop consultant for Servi-Tech, and the bride works as a sales associate for Farm Bureau in Osceola.
