Sandhills/Thedford girls edge Sioux County 55-51, head to state; Lady Spartans lose to St. Marys

Sandhills/Thedford will advance to the state tournament with a 55-51 win over Sioux County Friday night. Ansley-Litchfield saw their season come to an end Friday night with a 55-31 loss to St. Mary's of O'Neill. Mullen, who had a chance at a wildcard, saw those hopes fade as they didn't get enough outside help.
