Jane E. Fieldgrove, 63, of Loup City died Thurs-day, Aug. 15, 2013 at Jennie Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow.
Memorial Services were Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at the Congregational Church in Ravenna with the Rev. Doug DeNeui officiating. Burial was be in Highland Park Cemetery in Ravenna. Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna was in charge of arrangements.
Jane Fieldgrove was born Jan. 19, 1950, in Hinsdale, Ill., to Edwin and Dorothea (Klinkman) Olson. She moved to Nebraska in April 1965, from Downers Grove, Ill. She graduated from Ravenna High School in 1969.
She married Franklin “Bud” Fieldgrove April 2, 1970, in Kearney. The couple lived in Ravenna. They moved to Pleasanton in 1985, and to Loup City in 1987, where she was a housewife and a CNA at Rose Lane Nursing Home for four years. She moved to Westside Park after her husband passed away.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Barb Field-grove of Loup City; daughters and sons-in-law, Dodie Fieldgrove of Lincoln, Amy and Loran Nehls of Madison, Sarah and Frank Johns of North Platte and Karen and Joshua Oels of Broken Bow; 10 grandchildren; brother, Fred Olson of San Diego, Calif., and sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Leslie Karel of Ravenna.
She was preceded in death by her husband Aug. 27, 2002, and her parents.
