Nancy Ellen Glick, 63, of rural Angola, Ind., passed away peacefully Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at 5:35 a.m.. She was born in Anselmo, Jan. 9, 1950, to Richard and Frances McCormick.
She graduated from Anselmo-Merna High School May 27, 1969.
She is survived by a son, Chad Sargent of Georgia; two sisters, Linda Sturgelmeyer of Rocky Mount, Va., and Joanna McGarvey of Omaha; three brothers, Pat McCormick and Mike McCormick both of Seattle, Wash., and Bryan McCormick of Anselmo; several aunts, uncles and step-children; her best friend and companion, Freeman Glick of Angola and his family, Gary (Brigitta) Glick and Family of San Antonio, Texas; Randy Glick of Auburn, Ind., and his sons of California; Brian (Patty) Glick and family of Angola, Ind.; Tim (Doris) Glick and family of Three Rivers, Mich., and DeAnne (Jeff) Davis and family of Fremont and Auburn, Ind.
Nancy worked in Ashley, Fremont, Auburn and recently at Trans-Guard in Angola.
A Celebration of Life Service was Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at Weicht Funeral Home in Angola, Ind., with services conducted by the LaGrange Women of the Moose and Pastor Mark Sturgelmeyer, nephew of Nancy. Preferred memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and to the Parkview Hospice.
