Bennie Crouch age 60, of Ansley died Oct. 25, 2010, at Grand Island.
Bennie Orel Crouch was born July 26, 1950, at Broken Bow, the first of four sons born to Harry and Maxine (Coffman) Crouch of Ansley. Bennie grew up in Ansley and attended Ansley Public Schools. He was working at SunHeat in Grand Island, at the time of his passing.

Bennie loved the world of auto racing of all types and styles. He would frequent local go-cart races and mud drags and provide grilled pizzas which he made from scratch, and he would be requested to return to the next race to help cater his pizzas. His last adventure was the Riding Lawnmower Cruise Night which he threw together to kick off the Ansley Festival last year.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Maxine of Ansley; three brothers, Bob (Brenda) Crouch of Ansley, Larry (Lori) Crouch of Lincoln, and Jim Crouch of Ansley; two nephews, Eric and Brian Crouch who he adored; a step-nephew, Brisco; and a stepniece, Jessica whom he enjoyed as an addition to his life.
