Congressional Art Competition Submissions Due March 2

Washington, D.C.- Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) is encouraging highschool students in Nebraska's Third District to submit their artwork forthe 2014 Congressional Art Competition by March 2, 2014."The Congressional Art Competition is a great opportunity for ThirdDistrict students to share their talent," said Smith. "I hope we will beable to build upon the success of previous years and continue to showcaseoutstanding works of art in our congressional offices and in the U.S.Capitol."The Nebraska Art Teachers Association is working with Smith to coordinatethe 2014 competition. Official rules, guidelines and submission forms are available online at: first place artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol inWashington, D.C. Smith will display the runners-up in his Washington,D.C. and Third District offices. The Congressional Arts Caucus annuallysponsors the Congressional Arts Competition for high school students fromall fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories.
