Light freezing rain possible Monday morning, roads could be slick

Areas in Custer County received four to five inches of snow overnight Saturday into Sunday. Now there's a possibility of light freezing rain Monday morning. The following is a weather statement from the National Weather Service (NWS) out of North Platte Sunday, Feb 4, 2018.

Light freezing rain and sleet are likely late tonight into Monday morning as a warm front moves through the area. Any accumulation will be light, but it takes only a small amount of ice to make travel hazardous. Any freezing rain or sleet should end by noontime Monday.
