Local students to participate in Honor Band, Honor Choir

Several area students will be among the 775 students from 120 school who will participate in the University of Nebraska-Kearney Honor Band and Choral Clinic and Concert Monday, Jan. 22 at the UNK Health and Sports Center.

The 5:30 band concert features the UNK Wind Ensemble and Honor Bands.

The 7 p.m. choral concert features the UNK Choraleers with the Women’s, Festival and Honor Choirs.

Tickets are $3 and will be on sale the day of the concerts beginning at 4:45 p.m. Participants and pre-school children are admitted free.
