The National Weather Service Office (NWS) out of North Platte has announced the threat of mixed precipitation/icy conditions has increased for Thursday night for parts of Nebraska. Snow amounts are dependent on the amount of ice and may still change

Higher snow totals, better chance of ice, and coldest wind chills generally along and north of Highway 2. Lighter snow accumulations with a chance of ice and subzero wind chills south.
