Snow Thursday and again Saturday in central Nebraska

Staff Writer

Broken Bow and central Custer County should see about an inch of accumulated snow Thursday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). At about 11 a.m., the NWS said snow should end about 4 p.m.

About three inches of snow is currently forecast for Broken Bow Saturday, however, according to the NWS, that forecast is still subject to change. Some areas are forecast to receive freezing drizzle before the snow, which would decrease snow amounts but increase travel difficulties.
